Hi there, and welcome to my blog!
My name is Dana, I am a 2015 graduate of Ohio University, where I majored in Early Childhood Education. Currently I am a Pre-K teacher at a preschool in Grandview, OH and I am absolutely loving it!
I created this blog, originally, as a project for an undergraduate class I took in the summer of 2014 as an example of ways to communicate with students' families about ways in which to make healthier choices. I have recently re-embarked on a healthier lifestyle change myself and have decided to transform this blog into my own experiences, tips, and advice on a healthier well-being.
Additionally, I am a person of a crafty nature. That's probably an understatement - I'm surprised my hair hasn't fallen out and sprouted yarn, instead. I love to crochet (I'm also learning knitting!), sew, bake, re-purpose, anything that lets the creative juices flow. So, in addition to all of this fun food, health, and fitness stuff (I'm really into clean eating and essential oils, something you'll probably read about often), you'll likely see some of my creations, and maybe even some lesson plans! After all, I AM am a preschool teacher ;)
I hope you find this blog to be fun, helpful, and provides you with great insight!
